How Doist productivity apps use JotForm

I’m Brenna Loury and I’m the head of marketing at Doist. Doist is a fully remote company.

We’re about 60 people and around 25 different countries and we build productivity software for people who want to lead a more balanced life either at home or at work.

We have two products – Todoist which is personal productivity app and Twist which is a team communication app. Todoist is basically in its barebones form a to-do list app.

But the beauty of Todoist is that it can be as simple or as complex as you want. The cool thing about it is that literally anybody can use Todoist.

At Doist we use JotForm to manage our nonprofit and education programs for both Todoist and Twist.

So people who work in eligible nonprofit organizations or who are eligible educators or students can apply for a 50 to 70 percent discount. JotForm helps us make a very easy application process.

The UI is really clean and it’s very easy to customize and it gives a professional feel to our application process. One of the best parts of JotForm is that we didn’t actually need additional developer resources to build this integration.

We use a Zapier integration to connect JotForm with Zendesk so that our customer service team can act immediately on the applications that they receive.

We receive thousands of applications for people who are applying for nonprofit or education discounts. We don’t want them to have to spend extra time filling out a convoluted form and JotForm just makes it really easy for them to input the required information and then click “save” and then we receive the application and review the request and apply the discount.

We rely on these tools that really help us stay productive and focus on our most important work while also allowing us to live our lives in separate time zones.

It just makes things really easy. We’re Dosit. We’re a fully remote company and we use JotForm.
