Kelsie Hoover, used a fake persona by the name of Michael Cipriani and posed as Commissioned Officer of the United States Army for personal gain. An Ohio woman was sentenced to 3 years in prison for fraud charges.
➽ Fake Marine Outed at High School Graduation
This video was filmed at a Indiana High School graduation. A Marine and his father, who were attending the Marines brothers graduation noticed the fake when leaving the graduation. After the confrontation, the fake Marine fled and was nowhere to be found. The girlfriend of the fake and her family had no clue he was a fake, she was recently divorced and this fake was wooing her. She, and her two sons, one whom was also graduating, thanked the Marine and his father for what they did.
➽ Fake Marine Gets Called Out
This video was sent to us by a lady out of the Reno, Nevada area. This guy was walking around pretending he was a Marine. When asked for his name he responded that, “He was on High Alert, and couldn’t give that out.”
He was trying to get a discount on or a free venue for his wedding using the claims.
➽ Stolen Valor Fake Outed In Gretna, Nebraska Begging For Money
This was filmed by a Veteran of OEF who served in both the Corps and the Army. He came across this fraud in Gretna, Nebraska.
He collected money with his claims, telling people he had purple heart.
➽ Fake Colonel Goes Into Recruiting Office
A woman walks into a recruiting station claiming that she is a colonel just trying to catch a ride to Fort Jackson.
She claims to be a Colonel serving in the 28th infantry all the while wearing a pair of sneakers. Not a good look for a Colonel. Doesn’t seem she came well prepared for the request.
➽ Stolen Valor in Pensacola
A group of young marines, not to long out of basic training, confront a man for stolen valor on camera. The video posted by Dylan, one of the young Marines. The man in the video claims to be a 100% disabled veteran and believes that qualifies him to “wear whatever he wants.”
➽ Fake SGM gets called out by Marines.
A man identifying himself as U.S. Army Sgt. Major Cornelius Davis found himself questioned outside a West Palm Beach, Fla., funeral home, by two U.S. Marines who were curious about whether the purported soldier was, in fact, a soldier.
